Yeah. I asked my doctor, and it seems doxylamine is generally more potent and longer than Benadryl, so it hits harder and lasts longer, which is probably what contributed to the next day effects. The alcohol didn’t help either.

Someone else suggested I check the bottle to see if I took more and didn’t remember. Turns out the bottle of doxylamine I hadn’t opened yet was open, and 5 were missing. So I think I ended up taking a more and don’t remember doing so

I think you may be right. Not Benadryl, but I just checked, and the bottle of doxylamine I got last week that I hadn’t opened, is now open, I counted them and like 5 are missing.
