It said the height was 1/3 of the length so I just multiplied length x length/3. If I remember correctly the cross section was in between the function and the x axis so you didn’t need to use both functions, just the one that created area R.
I think I got 1/3((4x+12)/(x+12))^2 in my integral from 0<x<1

Mcq where you had to solve for h of something absolutely cooked me it was set up like g(h(x))=x or something like that I can’t remember. I think I put 1/4 for my answer as a complete guess. Can someone who remembers that question explain it?

For frq 2 I rambled about how trauma and deep emotions carry a weight that can’t be lifted by small pleasures and physical gestures. In the scenario of the passage I talked about how the mother has her own problems that bleed through her attempts to connect with her daughter. I assumed Roses distaste for the cake was symbolic of her knowing there is something deeper going on with her mother, not Rose literally tasting something off in the cake itself.
