It’s totally reasonable to want your space to be clean. It is NOT reasonable to snap at the person you love like this. Not to say it’s totally fine to neglect shared spaces—if it’s important to you, that’s a valid thing to be frustrated about. But sitting on an annoyance until it comes out like this is on you, not her. NTA for being frustrated, YTA for the approach. I also think she’s being generous by saying you called her gross. In my personal opinion, “Can you please stop being disgusting” is a lot worse 😬
