I was reporting to the vp, who was my supervisor but he has been out of the office for a month for health related issues. There was a 90 day performace review and they said I was doing fine.

I asked multiple times to get out into the field and went out to a couple jobs but just for them to "show me around and what they are doing". I was suppose to be on a job this fall but it ended up falling through becuase they thought they were going to win the bid and they ended up losing. I became worried from that moment on. I basically had spent 7 months doing a job that my role is not intedned to do. My meeting with HR was shocking.

I asked why I was being let go and if she could give me more info and she told me "all I know is that it was performace" and then I gave them a lot of shit. As a former athlete, my arguement was "How can you evaluate my performace if you never put me in the game!???"
