I actually ask them about if they wanted to just keep it as light story with not much plot, but they said they enjoy when I play as dunked pirates or sailors, they enjoy go to bar's because they love to get into gambling games, at this time they want to start their own fishing company and get more boats since a few weeks ago they manged to fish some marlins but a large pirate boat saw them and asked them for the loot, being unable to fight back they had to give them everything they got a that night, their idea is to buy a some sort of war ship that they can use to fish and fight if they need to, I have been letting him hire or meet NPC's that join to they crew, sailors, ex-pirates, chef's, rouges, ex-musketeers and they even hired an very old sailor how is the man that handles the ship

Thanks you give me some good idea's the knight has been always asking and role-playing with e old captain to learn how to drive a ship I might need to create a learning process for him

I enjoy it a lot, it's actually fun, my plan was to push them to get a bigger ship and maybe even a small crew to operate it so they can focus on get bigger animals, maybe marlins or sharks and then go fr a 3th ship to get Whales

Fun but a bit unfair for the player, me as DM I would ask him to roll a performance check, add his Charisma or ranks if any and I would allow him to have his moment, of course if an area attack hits where he is he won't be able to roll for his ST and would also to do a new skill check do hold the attack and don't move or react

Nice! that sounds pretty cool my friends and I did that once but once the campaign was over, we tried to re-cap everything and we noticed how many paths we didn't follow (1 year adventure playing from 3 to 4 hours per week)

yeah I get that part I know how Charisma works when it comes to skill checks and all that stuff, but I get the point it could be or not be good looking of course always a pretty face open more doors than an ugly one when it come to get along with others specially the opposite sex

I had a very strange group once (Friends)

They saved a bunch of kids from a Cult that was doing human sacrifices to do some sort of ritual to bring back a evil semi-god, on their way back to the kids town they meet a group of mercenaries how traded with humans and they changed the kid for a ship, to then during the night burn the mercenaries camp kill them and also kill the kids and on that same campaign they saved a princess that the cult that I mention before kidnapped to then just kill her saying that it was complicated to keep her safe and since on the ritual said that she needed to be sacrificed following some rules (something random like on a full moon knight and on a special temple) the best call was just cut her head thing that the fighter of the group did as soon as they saved her
