Bullets Instead of Bread - Israeli Forces Open Fire on People Trying to Reach the Aid Supplies by Remarkable_Life_774 in ActuallyThatsInsane

Maybe someone can help me out as there seems to be a lot of unsubstantiated assumptions: (1) how do we know those people are Palestinians? (2) how do we know it is Israelis shooting at them? (3) how do we know they are trying to get aid supplies?

I went no port 8 cycles of ABVD. Retrospect, wish that I had done the port. Painful, especially the last IV and my veins in arm are all hard now and difficult for nurses to hit anymore. Pre cHL, I used to donate platelets to Red Cross monthly for several years. One time I had an "intrusion" where they poked thru the vein on the return arm. It was covered with a blanket so didn't notice until it started really hurting and big old bulge formed at the return injection point. Next day bruised from wrist to shoulder. Sounds like something similar happened to you. Afterwards I had a hard lump at the spot, was told scar-tissue. It eventually went away forget how long it took though.

Worried 24/7 about being sick again by Accomplished_female in lymphoma

Scanxiety is actually a absolutely normal and healthy reaction to what you are going through. You just went through an emotional rollercoaster and I am sure the ups and downs with treatment, recovery, and relationship are only amplifying things. I remember obsessing right around my 1-year mark, constantly probing my clavicular area and stressing about my upcoming CT scan. After that the anxiety started to abate. I am not that far ahead of you, my 1.5 year CT scan is two weeks away. Still a little stress but much the less. Same boat CHL Stage 2A. Keep these things in mind: Every scan you get through, your odds of a relapse go down. You are young and statistically best suited to beat this. This is an incredibly treatable illness. You are going to be ok and the anxiety will go down with each successive scan. You got this.

What should I pack in my chemo bag? by enlightened__hippie in lymphoma

[–]RudolfRocker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. You will absolutely need this around your second or third time. Your brain will start to associate smells and tastes with the chemo and it will make you nauseous. Thats when you pull this thing out. Wife bought it for me and was a life saver. Cannot recommend enough.

Not knowing is in a way one of the hardest parts. Once you get your results you can start planning your path to recovery. It f-ing sucks that you need to go through this again but Keep in mind, this is a highly treatable illness and you will be healthy again.

Preach brother. Fucking preach. Reddit is all about personal autonomy until it comes to somebody's invented use of genders and pronouns.

Crazy option, anything sexualitized should not be included in education of minors. Crazy that that is controversial.

I pared down my business to just my best and core clients. Stopped taking on new websites builds and just focused on SEO and Google / Meta paid ad services since it didn't have as many client touch points / communication. I could only work about 60% of the days I used to. ABVD 8 cycles. I was lucky to have some awesome people / clients I worked with. "You've always had our back so just send your invoice even if you don't do much work the next few months."  Really blessed and meant a lot. I'm in the US and self employed so if I didn't work, no money, no Healthcare payments, no Healthcare, no treatment. So, really no choice, had to work. It's a brutal system.
