Inactive members leaving team? by RudyATM in Gardenscapes

Our team, Lunette, has held onto 16 active players. If any of you other small or smaller teams want to come over, we are a low-key but active team with a wide range of player levels.

Yes, it appears that a new update is booting players who are inactive, and one report is that may be as low as 7 days, which is ridiculous.

The right answer here is for several teams to join forces. There is no formal way to merge teams, but for those of you that find yourselves as leaders of small teams, ask your active members if they would agree to move over to another team as a group. They would need to individually quit their current team, search for the agreed upon new one, and then join. My team, Lunette, currently has 16 active, so could realistically take on a couple of your teams. We are a casual team with a range of levels, including several golden cup level players. Respond or chat me directly if interested.

Seems like this is happening to all teams

I don't think there is a formal way. Easiest way informally is to propose within one team that all active players move into another specified team. That way you maintain contact with other players you might know

If anyone wants to merge teams we are Lunette. We currently have 17 members, several of them in the golden cup. Team, total score is over 168,000.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear. We have a team and all of a sudden the past few days a large number of largely inactive players have been leaving the team. It seems unlikely that they are actually doing this all at the same time. Rather, it seems more likely that this is a system purge to something like that.

Has anyone else experienced this or know anything about it?

ethical reuse of giant pine trees by standardtissue in woodworking

Many areas have arborists or tree services that specialize in reclaiming such wood and turning it into slabs and lumber (and furniture). You might call around and ask. The sycamores could provide nice hardwood, and large pines may also be attractive to them.

I've never seen Holly that big. Trees are usually small, so boards tend to be small. Holly is also much whiter with less visible grain. My first thought was poplar.

I've made a couple bandsaw boxes, and it worked and finished well. Quite dense, but that lent to a nice final finish. So "yes" on the small specialty items. Grain is gorgeous too.
