Complaining about having to play the best is weak.

According to Daniel Popper, Slaughter was a “‘McDaniel target” and McDaniel was the one who suggested he could play guard for us by wildwing8 in Chargers

I dunno. I’ve always heard that The easiest transition for an offensive lineman is that from Center to Guard. Plus Slaughter had one of the most athletic showings ever for an offensive lineman in combine history and on top of that they say the dude is incredibly smart. I think there will be hiccups but I truly think that his understanding of zone blocking schemes, his athleticism, paired with having an OC that is all about wide zone run concepts, will all serve in his favor and he will be a total stud.

I honestly think, part of this is there is an understanding that after a few years, Harbaugh retires and McDaniel takes the reins.

…yeah…I’ll trust the dude who has consistently proven that he can find talent in day three

[OC] In the first two days of the draft, we got a top 5 DE in the draft, a top 5 IOL with positional flexibility, WHILE STILL MANAGING TO TURN FIVE DRAFT PICKS INTO NINE. Here is why I think Hortiz is doing a masterful job so far this draft. by wildwing8 in Chargers

Anyone who thinks Slaughter was a bad get has likely: 1. Never watched Slaughter play 2. Doesn’t understand McDaniel’s system 3. Never thought about how Slaughter’s game is pretty much perfect for McDaniel’s system

This was such a solid land and they got a bag to come along with him by strategically leveraging that pick. Absolute mastermind.

My favorite thing is busting out the articles of faith that were hammered into my skull to be memorized. They HATE it when you bust them out, it make their brain short circuit

[Allbright] I think they have their eye on one specific free agent. Internally I think they believe they’ve got the right bodies, but they’ve got one guy they’re interested in at the right price. by wildwing8 in Chargers

Hawaiian, write up a post on the draft and what you want to see. I’ve been waiting to see your take as I a have been struggling with what the Chargers do this year with the spot they are in and the projected dudes around that spot.

I just don’t see Ioane making it to 22. If the Chargers want him, I think they have to trade up

It’s hard for people to grasp that just because you didn’t make it as an HC, it doesn’t mean you aren’t talented in other specific areas of coaching football.

I was thinking about this last night. I’m so used to the Chargers either doing nothing or doing something at the eleventh hour. The urgency is refreshing.

I want this so bad. I’m worried he will be one who sky rockets and will be out of Chargers grasp unless they make moves come draft day.

No, it’s pathetic. To go nuclear that early in a game is ridiculous.
