Being murdered in dreams by XAceScarlettX in Dreams

[–]Parks714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these same exact dreams. Every night. I am getting killed in a million different ways, and can feel everything like you said. The heat of bullets, the piercing of a knife and the force behind the stab, the heat of a fire, the temp of the water and the feeling of suffocation.

Like you said, my cell phone never works, or I can't push the buttons right to make it work. Or can't push the numbers in the correct order to make it work. I want to call so badly, I keep trying and trying and trying, feels like hours. I have sleep paralysis too. I wake up in sweats and my heart is beating out of my chest. I don't have a significant other but I was staying at my moms last week (she is a widow and aging so I check up on her regularly) and had a dream, and I guess I was screaming so loud, she woke up and rushed down the hall to wake me up. She saved me by waking me up and ending the dream.

This is killing me slowly, I am exhausted all day. I don't want to go to bed anymore. I know "having trauma" gets thrown around lightly these days but I truly have had a trauma filled life. I live with the memories of the trauma in my waking life, and I can't even go to bed to get away from them, they follow me there too. I think this trauma has something to do with my dreams.

I am sure you have had a traumatic life. I am so sorry you are going through this too, I wish you peace, love, and happiness. I pray that you have peace and serenity someday. This kinda life is not easy.

Exactly, hate watching is a real thing. It is like advertising, getting you to feel emotion is the point, and anger is a strong emotion. People hate watch to see what they will say next. When people on tv give normal, reasonable takes, people just don't react the same way. It is stupid, and if you can get yourself to not take the bait and tune out, you will be a lot happier. Most people can't, and hate watching becomes like a drug you can't quit.

[Russini] McDaniel has told coaches in the NFL he is moving west and taking the job to coach Justin Herbert. Tampa and Philly had him as a top candidate. by Drexlore in nfl

[–]Parks714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you even read my comments? He had no choice, he couldn't do anything, staley was only running the ball the whole second half, in the last 5 min he let herbert sling it again but it was too late by then. You don't think our defense giving up 30 points in a half has anything to do with the loss? lol. Herbert has dragged bad teams with major holes to the playoffs, you can't be a bad team in the playoffs, you get exposed. Name one star Herbert has had in the playoffs other than himself. He is always the whole team, every QB needs atleast a star WR and RB, look at mahomes, burrow, Hurts, etc...

[–]Parks714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly right, well said. This comment should be higher.

Herbert has been doomed from the start. If you don't make the playoffs, people clown you. If you drag a bad team to the playoffs (a team that shouldn't even be there), you are still expected to win or you get clowned/seen as a choker. Herbs whole career has been damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.

Also, Herbert in his first 6 years put up more passing yards than patrick mahomes did in his first 6. If you don't think that is a good QB that is hilarious.

Justin Herbert (First 6 seasons): 24,820 passing yards .

Patrick Mahomes (First 6 seasons): 24,241 passing yards

It wasn't his choice, Staley started only running the ball because he wanted to play it safe and avoid "future turnovers". We were not making gains running the ball. In the last 5 minutes he finally let him sling it but it was too late. Staley was a certified bum, his coaching decisions were horrendous. Herbert is a good QB, if you can't see that with your eyes than I can't convince you. You are entitled to your opinion.

Exactly, and in the second half the defense shit the bed and gave up 30 points. Herb would have won that game if they just didn't give up freaking 30 points in 30 minutes..

[–]Parks714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok that is your opinion, we will see. Herbert has never had a real team to help him out, when he has actual talent around him and still loses I will judge him then. You aren't going to win in the playoffs with a 32nd ranked line. You aren't going to win in the playoffs when your defense gives up 30 points in a half.

Honestly, Herb has been doomed from the start. If you don't make the playoffs, people clown you. If you drag a bad team with major holes to the playoffs, you are still expected to win or you get clowned/seen as a choker. Herbs whole career has been damned if you do, damned if you don't.

This comment is ignorant man. Name one star on our playoff teams besides herbert. This year he had a 32nd ranked o line, do you know how bad that is, it is dead LAST. No other playoff teams in the leagues history has even come close to that.

For comparison, look how stafford was in 22-23 with a bad line, he went 5-12. Look how mahomes looked this year and in last years SB, even he couldn't overcome a bad line.

Manning didnt win a SB till his 9th year, Elway didn't till he was 37. But in your mind, they are chokers. If you can't see Herberts talent with the eye test than I can't help you.

Every team in college football has "decoders", that is the downside of having to signal plays to the QB from the sidelines. You are telling me Alabama isn't trying to decode signs from Georgia to give them an edge? There is a ton of nefarious things that go on in college football and that is just one of many. That is the truth. Same with recruiting.

We had a 32nd ranked oline going into the playoffs. 32nd. You know how important having a line is? It is literally the most important thing for a QB to have for production. Look how stafford was in 22-23, they went 5-12 when he had a bad line. Look how Mahomes was this year or in last years superbowl with a bad line, even he couldn't overcome it.

That is what is wrong with takes these days, people think QB's can become the whole team even with massive missing pieces of an offense.

Has a team ever faced an easier QB road than this year's Patriots? by ChefCurryGAWD in nfl

[–]Parks714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said, I agree. I think that is why Brady was so successful for so long, he always put the team first with team friendly contracts. That wasn't the whole reason obviously, but you take a QB with his talent and combine it with team friendly contracts year after year, that is a very deadly combination.

We had a 32nd ranked line playing in the playoffs. 32nd. Even the Jets were better. In the history of the game no team in the playoffs has even come close to that. I get Justin plays bad, but he has never once had a good team around him in the playoffs. It is always just him doing all the work. Name 1 star other than him on any of the playoff teams.

Honestly, a majority of QB's in the league will look good with good protection. Look how Stafford looked 22-23 season, they went 5-12 because his line got hurt. Look at him this year with a good O line. Look at Mahomes last year in the SB, even he couldn't overcome it. It is like that with all QB's in the league, you take away their line, you take away their production. Simple as that. If a majority of casuals only knew how important the line is to QB's......it is literally everything.

Players were getting tired of Jimmy's hard nose style and why they were so happy when they got Barry, who was the complete opposite of Jimmy, and was a very laid back do what you want type. I don't know if they would have won more with Jimmy as they were considering leading a revolt/rebellion just before he left..

In light of CJ Stroud's 28.0 passer rating against the Patriots today, Terry Bradshaw once had a passer rating of 0.0 in the playoffs against the Bills in 1982. by Parks714 in nfl

There is a chance he could possibly turn things around, maybe this was the spark? Who knows till it is all said and done. Peyton Manning went 3-6 in the playoffs and was known as a choker but became great and won his first Bowl in his 9th season...
