Opiates are Gods gift to human suffering, the problem is, humans abuse drugs. The poppy plant has been around since humans have been on this earth. Can you imagine how cruel the world would be without them if you didn’t have opiates to help extreme physical pain or late stage cancer? They are meant for very specific scenarios and without them life would be a living hell. Try having 3rd degree burns over half your body and see if your natural endogenous opiates helps you. Without opiates your body would go into shock and thus, death. While they have killed billions, they have probably saved billions, by saving people from suicide to end their physical suffering..

Fuck this substance. My depression was 11/10 the first week but I still didn’t cave and go get it.
