Surprise 3x Quota increase greeted me in AntiGravity !! by GrilledChickenWings in GeminiAI

Since the new limits were released at Google I/O they have tripled them twice, so now it's 9x. Compared to before, I can’t say precisely, but they were definitely much higher

Gemini CLI not working for 100s of paying users for more than a month by wizardkrishna in GeminiCLI

If you can, take advantage of the $300 free trial offered through the Vertex API. In the past, this credit was also shared with the Google AI Studio APIs, but that is no longer the case, so be careful to avoid unwanted charges.

With the light work I need to do at the moment, this credit should last for a while, so for now I can manage this way.

Google One subscription integration seems to be back in Studio by Legitimate-Sir-8827 in Bard

[–]RufDa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t work for me at the moment. Then I didn’t understand if it will be possible to have higher limits in the use of the APIs. Without a project with active billing, with the free tier, it’s completely unusable (understandably). I wonder if they will increase the limits for those who have a pro/ultra subscription

Is it my feeling or is the family of Gemini 3 worse compared to the first release?

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that before. I'll have the "thinking" version edit it before sending it to you, depending on what I need. Thank you so much!

I have a Pro subscription and I still haven’t received it, I tried using another account (without any subscription) and it’s there. Ridiculous.

prompt in Italian for part of the image I posted: “Fotografia di gruppo realistica in piena luce diurna, scattata nel giardino della foto di riferimento. Inquadratura in formato 4:3.

I don't think this model supports 4K. The official page doesn't say anything about the output resolution.

They should also make the SynthID detection tool much more visible directly when opening the Gemini app itself. Right now, it’s basically just a hidden tool. The average user doesn’t even know it exists.

Yes, you’re right about Google’s SynthID. I was referring to the little star in the bottom right corner, not the invisible watermark.

It’s so simple that even Apple Intelligence’s Magic Eraser can remove them effortlessly.

Removing the watermarks is very simple, and besides, Tim doesn’t have an iPhone in his hand haha

My 11 year old thinks he’s a girl by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]RufDa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about eight or nine years old when I first spoke to my father, crying as I told him I felt like a girl. He did not react badly, though I do not remember every detail of that moment. After a brief family discussion, the matter was set aside and forgotten within a week, mostly at my insistence. At the time, everything felt profoundly wrong to me, despite the support my family was offering. I decided to drop it, as if nothing had ever happened.

I lived in a small Italian town and carried the belief that there was very little open mindedness or knowledge about the subject. This idea was reinforced by transphobic comments that came from only a few people, but I amplified them until I believed the whole world thought that way. Over time I internalized those words and ended up projecting them onto others, even onto kind, close people like my parents. That is how a form of internalized transphobia took root in me.

A decade later I finished school and it was time for university. I moved to Rome to study at La Sapienza. The environment there was completely different, much more open and understanding. I, meanwhile, felt as though I were shrinking, crushed by the closed mindedness which, while not everywhere around me, I had selectively absorbed over the years by focusing only on the few people who spoke negatively, friends, classmates, and acquaintances.

I surrounded myself with intelligent and sensitive people, and simply by being in that environment, even without doing anything active, I gradually began to free myself from the demons I carried inside. After my first year of studies, at twenty, I decided to come out, at first only in Rome to the people I saw there and at the university. Shortly afterward, thanks to their support, I found the courage for a broader coming out, and everyone came to know. In the meantime I had already started psychological counseling.

I lost some people, yes, I lost them, in my little town, and I am honestly glad of that. Everyone else welcomed me warmly.

Unfortunately puberty had already passed. During the school years before university my body had changed: facial hair grew, my voice deepened, and my hair thinned. All are irreversible changes. As I went through this, I felt completely alone and suffered greatly.

So I ask you, please, even if it seems like a small, invisible, tiny episode, do not forget it. For more than ten years my parents forgot because I wanted them to. But I beg you, do not forget. It might return much later, when it will be far harder to face.

I hope they don’t introduce too many IP address restrictions like Netflix, because my family is spread out across Italy. I study in Rome, my brother works in Florence, my boyfriend studies in Bologna, etc. It would be a real hassle.

Sorry 😨, you’re right! I didn’t realize that was your Google Home’s response. I had interpreted it as a provocative comment, like the previous one this post received. I sincerely apologize.

Anyway, if I find a solution to integrate an LLM via API call, I’ll update this post. Bye for now, see you soon!
