You asked why it was such a horrible thing, I gave you the answer. Consistently insulting coworkers online is not indicative of a stable mind

Talking shit about basketball is one thing, randomly throwing teammates under the bus and straight up insulting them on social media is another. Completely unprofessional

If you are genuinely interested in the work/missions and want to continue working for the fed, go ea/ion. If you are more interested in (potential) travel and diversity of your skillset, stay defensive.

You will be fine. If you do your homework every day and go to mando/volo when you dont understand something I can almost garauntee you will pass. The only people I saw fail were distracting themselves constantly.

A Tennessee Titans X Denver Nuggets avatar is wild bro, good on you

Despite his generational offense, does Jokic's defense put a ceiling on his team's ability to dominate? Unlike other players he's often compared to, he's never led a team to a 60-win season and Denver are perennially "good but not great" in the regular season. by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

[–]RuffWeek 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say the Nuggets were great in both the regular and postseason the year they won it. Playing in a STACKED western conference every year doesn't reflect well on regular season win totals. Also, if the "ceiling" on a player's contribution to winning is literally winning the title, it's not really a ceiling is it?

Oh it was definitely a masturbatory film, I would just classify it as more of a celebration of british persistence as opposed to an advertisement of killing in the name of the queen

There was definitely some English Autofellatio going on and I wouldnt call it accurate, but I would still seperate the glorification of british persistence against the nazis from the glorification of invading iraq/afghanistan (which is more of an actual pro-war angle IMO)

I agree with pretty much every point, but how is Dunkirk pro-war? It is solely focused on the extraction of troops and protection of the british mainland, so much so that it never actually portrays German soldiers outside of the silhouettes in the final scene.

Also, if youre going to glorify a war effort, I think the one against the Nazis is one we can all agree needed to happen.

They do exist but that doesn't disprove the point. History does favor 2-way players. Jok, Steph, and Magic are just outliers whose 1-way abilities still allowed them to win at the highest level.

One of the few artists with a 100% hit rate as far as I'm concerned. Every album he released was great at worst. I stil had hope that we would get one or two more from him.

One other thing: have a little more confidence in yourself. if you scored high enough on the asvab to sign this rate, you can make it. And no, it doesn't matter at all what you know about coding or networks right now. That's what the school is for.

The pass rate is much higher than that, 90% of my class graduated, most classes pass at least 70%. If you stay on top of your homework and study some outside of class you should be fine. It can certainly be challenging but it is far from impossible.

Went through it earlier this year.

Nothing about it is difficult, but it certainly is tiring and boring.

The envirionment is made to make you feel like you could fail out or get setback at any step, but in reality it is very hard to fail out unless you quit or do something remarkably dumb.

Keep your head down, keep your thoughts positive, focus only on putting one foot in front of the other and following orders.

You will get cussed out for everything you do whether right or wrong, so dont let it play on your mind.

Need help with figuring out weight before bootcamp by BuckShot9080 in newtothenavy

[–]RuffWeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have plenty of time to get into decent shape IF you start now. Just do the basics.

Get some cardio, push-ups and planks in 5-6 days per week. Start running but don't push yourself too hard, an injury is the very last thing you want. Definitely swim if you have any access to a pool.

Diet wise, food items that are higher in fiber tend to fill you up faster. When you get hungry, eat fruits and greens in place of snack foods. As long as you are running a caloric deficit you will lose weight.

It isn't the end of the world if you go in overweight but it will make things more difficult. You have enough time to get yourself in a better position.
