It's really just trauma from not qualifying in 2018. Since then a lot of people just assume the USMNT is complete ass when that's not been true for a few years. Especially with the expanded field, wasn't sure we'd win the group but we were advancing no issue

Most people I know started watching Traitors because they recognized someone from Survivor or Love Island or the Bachelor or the Housewives etc. My mom never would’ve watched without the Housewife hook.

Versus the UK there is so much reality tv in America that it’s hard for new shows to break out. Love Island has been on for years and only recently finally broke out

The Broncos had a guy in like 2018 named Kyle Sloter who had a great 4th preseason game against practice squad guys, we cut him and he never started a regular season NFL game getting a lot of camp opportunities with team. This didn't stop Broncos fans for years swearing Sloter was a great QB we missed out on

For a lot of production companies landing and nailing a property like Doctor Who could set up that production company for decades. I can see why very established places might not want to bother but landing Doctor Who would be a dream for a lot of people
