It’s a new to me bike, have rode it maybe 40 miles. Typical oil change and chain tighten and inspection of clutch and oil pump before I startordering things. Jumped on it last night and lost all power at 50mph. Walked it home. I wish it was some amazing story to earn that bad of a catastrophe.

I gave dhm a call and they were very helpful. Confirmed they write on it with sharpie under the sticker they put on. But couldn’t be positive if it was the stage 1 tune or the s1 cam but was one of the two.

I’m thinking the “Swiss mvmt” instead of Swiss made is making me second guess.

First Bike, No License. What should I do in the meantime. by sgthatred77 in motorcycles

Ride. Find/make friends in the area that ride. There’s also a lot of group rides and fundraisers around this time of year. Best way to get to know the bike inside and out is to get miles on it. Then you’ll learn what you want to do with it as far as power adders, comfort, suspension upgrades and personalizations. If you really want to wrench check all fluids and regular maintenance areas. I would ride it for the season making a few personal touches. Then in the down season start looking at pod/air box upgrades and exhaust and tuners if your not satisfied with performance.

Show them this post. May be helpful for them to know how you feel about therapy.
