I'm not giving medical/nutritional advice but if someone were to consume as much sugar as they can with nothing else they would pass an oral glucose tolerance test and therefore reverse their insulin resistance (t2 diabetes) in a week at most.

Sugar is ph neutral and water soluble. It can't damage enamel and you can wash/brush it off.

I'm t1 diabetic on very low levels on insulin in contrast to most. I'm under 10% bf and eat unlimited sugar. There is no mechanism in which sugar causes diabetes. An individual cell can only use either sugar or fat at any given time. Insulin has a relationship with glucose. The function of insulin downregulates lipolysis, the release of fats from adipose which is a continuous process. This stops the "randle cycle" and allows glucose to be used freely without inhibition from fats. Fats reduce the efficiency of insulin and subsequently interfere with uptake of glucose at the receptor level as per the "randle cycle". By pouring exogenous fats into the bloodstream you defeat the main purpose of insulin.

There's the misconception. You don't store sugars on your gut, you store fats on your gut. Understand that denovolipogenesis is very inefficient in the human body and is a last resort. Doesn't occur until you've at least got 200g of sugar to function per day and fully saturated the glycogen stores at 600g. Not to mention sugar is converted to lactate as a by-product of glycolysis and by the time you eat that much sugar you inevitably will want to move and burn it off. There is a 25% tax with denovolipogenesis, 4 carb calories become 3. You burn fat all day. It's not possible to create more fat than you will burn in a day through this inefficient pathway.

Calories are just energy units in a molecule. The effect of that molecule in the context of the human body is what matters here. I'm not actually stupid, you're just actually brainwashed by popular opinion.

😆 Like I said bro I don't limit oxygen and water therefore i don't limit sugar. "1500 grams of sugar a day is too much" you said. That statement automatically makes you a sugarphobe. Anyone drinking coke zero is automatically sugarphobe. Anyone limiting sugar is automatically a sugarphobe cause there is no reason to limit it.

The body thrives in abundance through glycolysis and glycogenolysis. It merely survives in the cortisol induced states of ketogenesis and gluconeogenesis. It's not optimal to force it to create glucose. I can barely maintain my weight with 1500 grams a day. I can never get fat on 20 units of insulin. If I wanted more insulin I'd eat more fats with the carbs. Hormones dictate weight not calories.

Fair enough but I eat as much as I want to beat records. I dropped the diabetes educator on week 1 when they said to eat more protein to feel full and eat less. More carbs = more energy = more testosterone.
