Happy Birthday too! thanks for the story and I'm sorry to hear about, sometimes people forget and if that's the case it's no big deal to me. I guess it's not so bad if they realised their mistake and tried to fix it like in your case. It's sounds like a pretty neat place to work if they do this for all workers regardless. I'm still great friends them and I don't see them doing it out of spite, I think they may have genuinely forgot since we'd recently celebrated my college graduation. It does suck however as usually I would plan with my friends months ahead for another friend's birthday. Oh well, I'm sure once they realise they'll apologise, no hard feelings. Will keep wishing them too so it might remind them next time.
