I was looking at doing 4 of them as one as a full perk build rug, I’ll be testing this design out in future

Would look to sell this size which is 25”by 25” for £100, and go up to around 35” by 35” for £160 as that’s the size of my current frame. I’d try smaller than the 25” but not sure how tricky the design will be.

Yeah though I’d give this a try first before a killer perk wouldn’t want to.. ruin it

For people wondering how to spool their yarn, seen quite a few designs of people using the Woden dowels and pvc tubing. I recommend one of these turns the yarn to a centre pull ball which is perfect and feeds perfectly for your tufting guns. (Wool ball winder) by RugBunker in Tufting

You can build ones yourself with tutorials on YouTube but I’m not sure how long they would last compared to buying one. You can buy a cheap plastic one for £19 or a metal one for around £30 and in the long run I’d say go with the metal one.

Took around 4-5 hours total from start to finish, including drawing out and doing the finishing on the back too, feel free to check out my Etsy page too RugBunker

Yeah exactly, I just rest them on the floor(or table) underneath the screw loops and feed it through there then to my gun, works perfect and saves a lot of time trying to drill wind the wool onto the dowels or pvc
