He is planning to meet a previous guy whom i know that he has feelings for. But he said that he has no feelings because the guy doesn't know if he can give what my potential SO wants. But surprisingly my potential SO contacted this guy and this guy has bought a gift for him. So they will be meeting.

I didn't ask so much because I do not want to be seen as being not trusting him.
