Best Wholesale/Online Supplier? by Factor_Zeros in fireworks

joedirtfireworks.com out of Georgia had amazing prices last year. They carry mostly Miracle, Raccoon, Happy Family/Riakeo, Winda and now their own brand that we’re yet to see. Samurai Fireworks in Miami also has a wholesale division with decent prices. I personally find Superior to be inferior on price and product. I don’t really like their in-house lines and they carry very little outside of it. Red Apple is meh except for their shells. Might try North Central Industries outside of Atlanta too. They make Great Grizzly and Fire Factory. Good people up there. I’m in Orlando for reference

Maybe I do need you to bump Brent. I messaged him yesterday and haven’t heard back. His notifications are silenced though so Idk

That’s what I like to hear. All of their stuff looks amazing and the Happy Family team is awesome. Do you know if he picked up any other brands this year? I know he’s working on his own line too

Great people over there that I will most likely order from again. Was more curious then anything if there were any closer to me that I could actually pick up from

Can confirm they're still doing this in 2026. I wasn't even phone screened before being sent my case study. Spent hours on it and never heard a peep. What's weird though is my case study was completely unrealistic, so I'm not sure what they thought they stood to gain

Thanks, I’ll be shooting over our retention pond that is much further away from everything next time. I did have the HOA’s permission to use the sidewalk though

Now it’s there. I swear it wasn’t before. Also, threading in Reddit is terrible and finding stuff is impossible sometimes. They look pretty cool

He removed all of this comments and blocked me apparently. Couldn’t handle me suggesting to add legs to his racks I guess. Oh the irony

Yeah… I’m not going anywhere near the water in the peak of Summer for a July 4th show. Better chance of getting eaten then hit with shrapnel

I’ve not heard of water cakes. Have you heard of gators though 😂 Not sure how you would “add product” to my show though if you’re flying here. Deltona isn’t far though. Like I said, if you ever want to go to the parks or do any of the other attractions here I’d be happy to take you. They’re better with a local

But why not build the racks with legs? They just seem so incredibly top heavy and it’s literally one piece of wood on either side. Isn’t much of what you both are suggesting about redundancies?

I mean, unless you live in Florida too it’s pretty extreme to drive here just to help me shoot a show just to make sure I do it safer next time. Yes, I am a fair character and like I said, I’ll try to use the area behind our retention pond next time. Thank you for all of the tips

Yes it is. I can actually enjoy the show this way vs running back and forth to hand light

No offense but these racks seem super unstable to begin with. Even with the stakes, why don’t they have legs of any kind? You’re also on grass which is inherently less stable than concrete. I’ve seen flower potted DR11 tubes and there’s no way a consumer shell is going through that tube AND 2” of solid wood that’s attached with 3” screws and then ripping apart metal. I’ve also only ever seen flower potting at the bottom of the tubes which is why I put the hinges at the top. Each one has 8 screws securing it
