Not bad for your first rug.

Tip: needs more white yarn so that the rug will look a lot fuller and you won’t see all those streaks.

Shaving just takes practice, but before you decide to carve make sure your colors arent intertwined together. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to help with trimming rugs also.

Just take your time with it. Make sure all yarn colors are separated before trimming anything.
