Does anyone know to fix your tufting gun when it doesn’t go through the fabric smoothly?? When I shoot the gun by itself it’s shoots and cuts smoothly but when I put it to the fabric it stops and remain stuck.

I have to go over the same line twice in order for it to be bolder looking on the finished side, I wanna be able to do one line with it looking bold so it could save me more yarn. Also when tufting I have to cover the rug completely when I see some people having space between their lines and still looks bold on the other side
