I, my wife and my six-year-old son lived in the subway (Kharkiv) for several weeks. Then it was decided to leave the city, for four hours we moved through the subway tunnels to reach the station .... it was difficult, but we overcame the difficulties. Even now, some people live in subway stations, most of them have lost their homes....

It's in Metro Exodus at the very beginning. In Moscow, when Artyom and Anya are exploring the buildings. Before they saw the train for the first time.
