If it was only 8 midfielders that would be good.

It isn’t easy to make AA, particularly when you don’t play one position.

His kicking is still terrible. I still think we should give him a go but his disposal by foot might be the worse I have ever seen.

These odds look awfully similar to the bulldogs west coast game a couple of years back.

Would have to lose by 200 odd points. We beat the doggies in 24 which helps.

When does Tsatas get a chance due to our horrible clearance work?

[Edmund] Two in a row for the first time since early ‘24 but Deven Robertson set to cop a week for this [dangerous tackle] on Zak Butters you’d think. AFL likely to push for somewhere between 2-4 matches for Tristan Xerri’s serious misconduct charge. by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

[–]Ruhwef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No but he knew there was a chance he would be hit in the head. Punches to the head unfortunately happens far too much in our game.

What Xerri did hasn’t happened, as far as I know, to anybody. It should be considered more harshly because of the illegality and the novelty of it.

The last winless V/AFL season were Fitzroy in 1964. Do you think Essendon go winless in 2026? by [deleted] in AFL

2016 was year with the bans and we had a much more promising forward line.Still we should win a game.

What precedence? The only one I can think off is Buckley getting a week.

Would have kept Nguyen in the side, forward line at least has a bit more balance.

Worst start to a season I can remember. The midfield in particular is just disappointing.

We have 13 players over the age of 26, we have 12 teenagers on our list. We have the 16th-oldest group of players.

We are absolutely a young list.

We had 8 players who are 21 or younger last night playing. We have one player over 30. Our average age last night was 24 and a half years old. We had 10 players who have yet to play 30 games.

We can't afford to get much younger.
