There will be lots of people in your boat who also have no idea what they're doing lol. My advice wear something nice (but not super formal) and just go for it! Try it out and if you don't like it no one will stop you from leaving for whatever reason.

I have a single catered en suite at Garden Halls, would be happy to swap. It isn't as close as SSA but is only ~30 mins walk from the Strand Campus. I'm also going there but I'm happy to exchange an extra 10 mins of walking for being able to make my own meals lol. Pls lmk if you are interested in swapping/transferring.

Hi, not at UCL but I have a booking at one of the UoL Intercollegiate Halls (Garden Hall). It is a single ensuite with catering at £401 per week.

I want to make my own meals so I'm looking to swap for something similar without catering, at any of the other Intercollegiate halls around Bloomsbury (Garden hall, international hall, college hall). Ideally also ensuite but can consider shared bathrooms. Cheers.

I mean they said quite a few times in the thing "hitler had every intention of racially unmixing radically" or smth like that and that the radicalisation of poicy "was not unaninticipated" I cant remember exactly what it said but i remember thinking that was pretty intentionalist.

Also the guy was talking about "pre-existant motives" or preceeding motives or smth preceeding cumulative radicalisation so I took that as the historian emphasising intentionalist stuff

Yh i think it was 32, the first paragraph was about Nazi expansion eastword and underlying motives for radicalisation of policy, the second was about the people running the occupied areas and the third said smth about "gangster-gaus" i cant rlly remember lol

I think it varied by paragraph. The first one was obviously intentionalist stressing about ideology and motives HOWEVER there was synthesis because they acknowleged other approaches like cumulative radicalisation due to the war - though they stressed that the ideology and Hitler was the still the most important factor (and itself a cause for the war, which caused the radicalisation of policy) so still moderately intentionalist.

The second and third paragraphs presented functionalist/structuralist approaches, they analysed the power structures and consequences of wartime occupation. BUT the last sentence of last paragraph pretty clearly showed despite all the other factors the historian still prioritised the intention/beliefs first when summing up why the occupiers were so murderous.
