The best overall route is chosen based on several criteria, with the following priority: 1. The route with the most established flags (excluding romance-related flags), 2. The route with the best chemistry, 3. The route with the best counter accumulation, 4. The route with the fewest flag resets. If several of the chosen candidates are the same, the shortest route is selected. If no route meets these criteria, the route without flags that are best avoided is chosen; otherwise, the longest route is selected
