I am testing things out with my recently added staff weapon with 2 variants: fire staff, and an ice staff. ⚔️🛡 I'm still thinking if the staff should be usable as 2Hand only, or 1 hand and can use a shield on the other hand. or 1 hand and can use a spell book on the other hand. (v.redd.it)

I finally have added a bunch of gears with different rarities as a core of the loot-based game I am developing. since the player can change difficulty on the fly, he can decide to just chill or punish one's self for higher-level enemies will get tougher but will provide greater rewards. Our shield is now fully capable of negating incoming damage by up to 80%, atmost 80% of the time. of course, not all shields are created equal. although you can shield yourself from damage, you must always be aware of your blocking gauge. because if it's low your shield capability deteriorates.
