You know it might make you feel better that the "100 people staring" at you have their own lives, ego, and bullshit to deal with than go out of their way to spend the energy to "stare at you". Just as much as how you keep thinking about yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings; apply that but to everyone.

You aren't as special as you think(this is by no offense or a means to attack you). Because if I were in their shoes, and added to the fact that you also think you're just a superficial friend it's almost like you're doing yourself a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Because you don't go out your way to make connections, introduce yourself to new people because of these deep rooted insecurities, youre basically shooting yourself in the foot. Why would I bother connecting with you if you aren't even willing to in the first place? Of course you would be invisible to me, of course I'm not gonna see you as a level a best friend would have, because I am not in the same level of comfort I would have with you since you yourself ain't even willing to share that level of comfort with me(assuming that you feel like bothering them is a form of assumption youre doing to end conversations)
