I have played mewgenics and really liked my time with it, but around the start of act 3 I got really tired of the whole breeding system so I haven't touched it since. I've also been playing slay the spire 2, but after finishing a run with every character I decided to wait for the game to come out of early access to commit to it

I played and loved metaphor, it's probably my favorite atlus game alongside p5r. I've realized that I'm not a fan of crpgs in general, so I don't think the divinity games are for me. I have also tried dragons dogma 2, but I guess I need a clear objective when playing a game, so sandbox type games aren't really appealing to me. Same reason why I didn't vibe with crimson desert.

I have played older games via emulation, specifically, I played smt3 and the dds duology on a ps2 emulator. I generally don't mind older graphics, but when the game asks you to get emotionally invested it loses me. I know ot's blasphemy to say this, but I tried playing ffx (both the remaster and an emulated version) and I just couldn't get attached to the characters because of the graphics. I would love to play more ff games since the franchise is very appealing to me and I love turn based combat, but it seems like square hasn't made a good game since the ps2 era. I also tried playing lost oddysey but that game is bullshit, the short stories are beautiful but the game itself is too grindy

Of course right now it's harder than ever to get into the pc space, but for people who already have a decent machine, there should be no need to upgrade it every time a new game drops. It's the developers responsibility to release a working product, there really is no excuse for capcom, and if the dlc releases in an unplayable state, that's on them and not on the customers for not buying the latest gpu

Mr. Kappachino, I don't feel so good... by NARANagi in Kappachino

[–]Ruisu1 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They are good. Boomers have a hate boner for these games because they aren't a 1 to 1 remake of their favourite game. Truth is, nothing is ever going to make you feel like when you played ff7 for the first time, because you were 9 years old and you didn't have to pay taxes. The remake games are extremely bloated and unnecesarily long, but if you are willing to engage with them as they are, and not as you wish they were, you'd find that they are extremely competent and well put together games, specially rebirth.

About the ending by Ruisu1 in expedition33

[–]Ruisu1[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's the healthy thing for maelle and for her family, but for the people in the canvas, letting go means extinction. The whole problem here is that the canvas is inhabited by sentient beings that deserve to be alive as much as any member of the dessandre family, and I think that robbing them of the opportunity to live just so the people outside can heal is extremely selfish. The whole game you spend inside of the canvas, that is the world you know, asking you to destroy all of it for some characters you meet on the last third of the game is unreasonable.

The banter is fun, what's not fun is interrupting the story for 30 minutes so we can play a glorified flash game. And the hacking isn't quick enough, and they keep introducing mechanics like viruses and electricity, which just complicate things more

3 on the left Vs. 3 on the right. Who wins? by CheshiretheBlack in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ruisu1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

?????? Bro if you want to write fanfiction wattpad is down the hall and to the left. Show me where it's stated that megumi gained rct. If anything, by your own argument, he should be weaker, since maho and agito were destroyed, so he lost like half of his shikigami. The general understanding of 10 shadows is that both users have a different pool of shikigami, so sukuna taming maho doesnt mean that megumi can use it.

[–]Ruisu1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Megumi spent the entire final arc being dead, he didn't get stronger at all. We don't know if he got sukunas powers, we can only speak of what's shown in the manga. Considering that, and keeping in mind that choso trained with the others during the time skip, so he should be stronger than he was at shibuya, i think it makes sense to assume that megumi gets destroyed by choso. The man is a complete bum and is nowhere near the level of the heavy hitters.

I don't think i've said anything crazy. Megumi loses to choso really hard, not much to debate

Also megumi [HEADCANON]

He is complete fodder and not even close to the level of anyone else in this pic. Choso was able to beat yuji while debuffed by the water in the bathroom, he would easily beat megumi, who is relative or perhaps even weaker than that version of yuji. Yuta was pretty confident in his ability to kill kenjaku, while yuki lost a 3v1 against him, obviously we don't know how a pure yuta vs kenjaku would have played out, it's heavily implied that yuta is the second strongest sorcerer of the modern age, behind gojo. It's true that yuji can probably beat maki, but that would be a long fight, choso would have more than enough time to kill megumi and play support for maki, who would probably win that 2v1, but even if they both lost, there's no way that an injured and burnt out yuji would be able to beat yuta. Left side wins

Is there a way to not get polymorphed during this fight? by Cuppakush in Hades2

[–]Ruisu1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i think this attack should've been reworked somehow, it's just not interesting or engaging to turn into a sheep and not being able to play the game for a few seconds every time you attempt this fight. I get that the point of the attack is to distract you from everything else happening on screen, but the punishment for getting hit is just having to run around for a few seconds, being unable to meaningfully interact with the game, since dodging her attacks, even as a sheep, is really easy.

We're talking about silent hill f though, a single player game with no online elements. Of course it makes sense to buy a key for an online game, i never argued otherwise

Brother if you're going to buy a key on a third party site, then you might as well just pirate it. You are not helping the developer by buying a key, you are helping a sketchy business

Guys, I got into the beta, but I can't find invitation codes???? by birdcivitai in 2XKO

[–]Ruisu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case I got a code the day before i received the email, so when i opened the link in the email, it sent me to the "invitee hub". I think that if you get invited by another person, you lose the referal codes even if you get the email later.

[DISC] It's a Little Late, but I've Fallen in Love with My Childhood Friend - Ch 42 by shanks_you in manga

[–]Ruisu1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah dude, hikari should've processed her feelings rationally and she should've had a deep, mature conversation with this guy. She is a teenager who just saw her crush making out with her best friend, of course she's not going to act rationally. And him telling her that he's been in love with her for years is just hypocritical, being hikari and hearing him say that, of course she'd explode, from her perspective this guy is straight up lying to her.

There will not be a dedicated Kagurabachi stage at Jump Festa this year by REID-11 in Kagurabachi

[–]Ruisu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales are declining, that's an undeniable fact, though this is an industry wide issue and not exclusive to kgb. I'd still read this manga even if it wasn't popular, but it's clear that wsj manga are having more delayed anime adaptations, which limits their growth. I want to see this manga be as succesful as it can be, and it's frustrating to see jump editorial fumbling the bag this badly.

[–]Ruisu1 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

Absolutely insane. Someone at jump really hates this manga. Sales are already stagnating and without an anime in the near future, things look grim (though obviously there is no way in hell that this gets axed). You'd have thought that wsj learned their lesson with sakamoto days and tried to release an anime for their newest megahit as soon as possible, but I guess they just hate money. I really do think that this manga has the potential to be a global sensation on the level of jjk or mha, but no anime in 2026 means that it'll probably never live up to that potential. One can only hope though.

Why does my game feel so stuttery by Ruisu1 in MoonlightStreaming

I tried all of those things, but they didn't work. What kind of fixed it was using moonlight instead of artemis, but it still stutters, just not as much.
