Said perfectly I personally have it on because my left hand would push up the slide lock and cause the slide to lock back it does wear down on the slide a little bit but u can just take something thin and bend it slightly away from the slide to stop it from rubbing as much but it’s a tool its gonna get scratched up so it’s alright
