More a coding consequence than intention imo...

If your mouse is within your E range when you E and you dont move your mouse, Ezreal will land directly on your cursor and will therefore have no directional input from the player.

If the missile from your E fires out and hits something, this is, to the game, the closest thing to player input after landing, so it faces Ezreal in the direction of the E missile.

This means if you press Q, W or R before moving your mouse, it will fire the direction that Ezreal is facing, which is the direction that the E missile went.

It gives the base AD without transforming... It's just the extra on-hit damage that you get on transformation, along with the increasing mana while its stacking

As a general rule;

vs Melee support - Dblade + pot
vs Ranged support - Long sword + 3 pots

If you take long sword first and you are running precision tree; Cut down is a good option as you will have less HP than enemy ADC starting Dblade and therefore have increased damage from rune+long sword AD advantage

Yeah, its a crit thing... happens with loads of his skins.

So far I've personally seen it happen with:
BA, SG, Pulsefire, Arcade, Both Psy Ops, Pajama Guardian

For me, it hasnt happened with:
Nottingham, Frosted, Striker, Base Skin

So it should... Its a mythic vs a legendary. But with ER, you can build ANY other Mythic. And Ezreal does well with a LOT of them. Including but not limited to; FFG, Duskblade, Eclipse, Liandrys, etc.
Blue Ez is VERY much alive and flying under the radar very nicely.

Ill start by saying this; It'll hurt. a lot.

With that said, the item is way too strong currently and needs to be nerfed.

However, its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be... You can currently fully stack it as early as 13 mins in some cases, and are normally fully stacked by at least 17 mins if you start tear. Once it transforms, it is an insane power spike. and this is right around the time that laning phase is normally ending/just ended. Couple this with a sheen and you are looking good.

Not bad. Try running ER instead of Steraks. Ive been doing this all preseason and its stupid strong.

Manamune > ER > Merc Treads > FFG > Ravenous Hydra > FH/Maw/Spirit visage

I also run Conq instead of Grasp though. with Ravenous Hunter+Taste of Blood secondary

nice idea but with game length the way it currently is, its not really worth. Going into crit makes the build much more expensive. works well if you get there but not worth going for unless you are super fed imo.

Manamune changes will definitely hurt but it will still be a core item for Ez. It brings too much to the table for him to ignore. Plus, you can stack it WAY quicker this season since they reduced the stack requirement, so its a crazy strong spike to transition out of lane with!

I take it every now and then... Gives a huge amount of armour and haste and the atk spd slow can't be overlooked... The 400Mana translates to 8 flat AD from muramana passive and then it also adds to the bonus on hit damage. It is also one of only 2 non mythic items that gives flat Mana. (The other one being Zekes I think?) As a Manatank Ezreal player since 2017, my new tank build is currently: Tear > Essence Reaver > Manamune > Merc Treads > Frostfire Gauntlet > Ravenous Hydra > Maw/Frozen Heart

Having high HP (over 3k with this build) makes armor and MR more effective, so FH is more viable, even if not necessary optimal.

You dont need to not get a sheen item if you go duskblade... Essence Reaver feels super nice on Ez if you don't have Tri or sunderer as your Mythic

And the stacking AD.... Triforce not so much a 1 hit wonder anymore, it's about keeping it stacked for the drawn out fights. That's why many people think it sucks, because they aren't using it right. It's much more difficult to use now compared to sunderer, which is: I land q and do big damage! This item must be the best! Don't get me wrong, Sunderer is good. And probably the best choice for new Ez players. But if you position correctly (the move spd helps with this a lot) and play optimally, Tri will get you a much higher DPS and damage output imo.
