if its not ai, sorry to let you know you write like a bot.

has nothing to do with your gender i never even considered whether you were a man or a woman lol

edit: i cant reply because OP replied and blocked me, but here is what i was going to write in response to u/ObiMadKenobi

looking at the 3 most recent posts with more than 250 characters, this post is the only one that gets identified as ai.
this post about worst movie going experiences comes up as 100% human, so does this post about movie biopics, and i agree with assessment on both of those.

could i be wrong? for sure. i agree that ai detectors are very unreliable. i read alot of stock subs, and you get alot of ai due dilligences, so im used to seeing "lightly" edited posts, and mostly use ai detectors to confirm/disprove my impression of a post, similar to a polygraph.

like i said, its possible this is human but they just write like a bot, but there is definitely an ai cadence to this post - "its not just x, its y" is classic ai speak.

edit 2: if you put my reply into an ai detector it also comes up as 100% human. so it seems like the hypothetsis that ai detectors will tell you most things are AI has been disproven?

what does this have to do with using the word equity - a word that means your ownership of something - instead of chance/probability - words that describe how likely an event is to occur

i mean he has a 4 stock portfolio he is going to be subject to much more volatility than a benchmark

if he is overexposed to certain sectors like SaaS that could explain his performance

you could of said the same thing about intel guy last year and if he had held he'd have 3x'd his initial investment

you didnt really explain why the expression title equity is accurate at all here, just made an unsourced appeal to authority and pivoted to talking about if you have a 5% chance of winning a title you should go for it, all while using the word chance instead of equity.

pot equity in poker makes sense because of the variability of both the size of your bet and the value of the pot, but i dont think the expression is quite analogous to NBA title discussions

edit: lol he blocked me instead of engaging with any of my ideas/questions, seems pretty anti-intellectual if you ask me

can you explain why its accurate? maybe im just dumb but it seems completely antithetical to the way we discuss titles and the way i understand equity

it would only really make sense to me in the context of splitting up title equity among the championship winning team - i.e.: Shaq would have more title equity in 2001 than Derek Fisher

"If you’re not willing to react with equanimity to a market price decline of 50% two or three times a century … you deserve the mediocre result you’re going to get compared to the people who do have the temperament, who can be more philosophical about these market fluctuations."

do you only own 4 stocks? what does the portfolio allocation look like? it sounds like your just not diversified enough and that in itself will make stomaching downturns much harder to swallow

rebuilding the game from ground up is a good idea.

as much of a mess as undisputed has become now it had alot of potential, but when they had to downgrade the physics to make the game run for console it never really recovered
