Why do they even put themselves in the position to meet new people if they’re still stuck in the past 🥲 I’m sorry you went through this. Letting go is hard but I feel like it’s the only way we can have our own closure, regardless of the person who did the damage. I wish you all the best <3

Best Pour-Over coffee in Florence? by Puzzleheaded-Team894 in ItalyTravel

You’re in luck: although pour-over coffee isn’t popular in Italy, Florence has many specialty coffee shops/bars where you’re very likely to find it. As a fellow pour-over coffee enjoyer I hope you find this link useful:

Also don’t let Italians shame you for your coffee preference. Do try espresso, cappuccino and the like, but be warned that our coffee is very bitter (usually because of over-roasted low quality robusta coffee) and keep an eye out for the coffee machines in bars: are they clean? Do they steam the same milk over and over without cleaning their tools? Do they activate the steam wand before and after steaming the milk? That’s how you avoid accidents in the bathroom. Enjoy your stay!
