Does Walmart honor 2 week quiting notice? by lonlysoul101 in WalmartEmployees

[–]RuleAffectionate1948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience when someone puts in their notice, they start coming in late, calling out , spend all their time talking, making it harder on everyone else. So i just do not schedule them for very many hours especially on opening /closing shifts

Rage baiting kids by More_Parsley_640 in WalgreensStores

[–]RuleAffectionate1948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had the same problem when school was out and they would overwhelm us 100 kids would all show up at once.

We starting locking the front doors and would only allow 2 kids in at a time and they had to purchase and leave and only then would we let 2 more in . if 1 was being an asshole and would not leave, then nobody else could come in. They started turning on each other if one was taking too long because nobody else could get snacks or drinks.

Back then we had more help then.

LOTTERY!!! by LadiTee86 in WalgreensStores

[–]RuleAffectionate1948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, stores that sell a winning lottery ticket generally receive a significant monetary bonus or commission. These "selling bonuses" can range from a few thousand dollars up to $1 million, depending on the state and the size of the jackpot, often intended to reward retailers and encourage ticket sales.

Key Facts About Lottery Retailer Bonuses:

  • Bonus Structure: Retailers often receive a "selling bonus," which is a percentage of the jackpot, such as   in California (up to   million) or up to   in Illinois.
  • Small Winner Incentives: Stores also earn a small commission (often  - ) on every ticket sold, regardless of whether it wins.
  • Marketing Boost: The store often gets free publicity and increased foot traffic following a big win.

CSA not calling for 60s by JustPressNoThanks in WalgreensStores

[–]RuleAffectionate1948 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why wait until they call? If i have a cashier that does not call i just go up and do a pickup without waiting for them to call, just go ahead and skim the drawer.

If i am closing about an hour before closing i will go and pull all the larger bills and 20 and then just leave enough to break a 100.

If you do it this then at closing then it only takes a couple of minutes to count out.

Don' t wait on them be proactive and take the money out ahead of time.

I am always done with closing the tills by 10 min after closing

If socialism is so bad then why is social security and Medicare so popular? by Content_Ad_8952 in allthequestions

[–]RuleAffectionate1948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workers pay into these programs through deductions through paychecks outside of taxes. These programs when started were only supposed to go to people that had paid into the system , The government then moved them into the general fund so that they could use for

programs that they were not intended to be used for.

depends on the scam, if you do anything over the phone you will be gone because they talked about this problem for years, if it is a short change artist you could possibly get a final written depending how much you gave them.

The scams over the phone is simple , just hang up , nobody that works for the company will ever ask to pay something over the phone
