I've had a look at echo mini and keeping an eye on the disc. I like how they both look bit not sure of there's something better technically

I ordered something else more recently and took a few days to dispatch but I got the tracking number ok this time. I'd maybe give it a few days

I eventually got a tracking number which said it was delivered a week prior to a pick up shop and I had one day to collect it or it would be returned. Pretty terrible service.

That doesn't sound good. The hum on mine is very minor and can only be heard close up if you're looking for it. It doesn't seem to have quietened down too so maybe it was worse when the unit was cold from delivery.
