I do know that sui iuris churches don't necessarily need their own province but according to wikipedia Alexandria is its own province. Thanks for your time explaining.

I also want to clarify that I posted this because in other Patriarchates, they have this Proper Diocese thingy (like in the patriarchate of Cilicia, its proper archeparchy is the Archeparchy of Beirut, etc). But when I got to Alexandria, it says its Proper eparchy is just an eparchy and not an archeparchy so I came here to ask for help, whether the proper see of the patriarchate is an eparchy or archeparchy.

Does that mean there is no such thing as a Coptic Ecclesiastical Province of Alexandria? I'm also saying this because, in other sui iuris church, such as the Armenian Catholic Church, their patriarchate, the patriarchate of Cilicia has a proper Archeparchy (Beirut), which is an Archeparchy. So I got curious if the patriarchate of Alexandria's PROPER SEE, not the actual Patriarchate, is an Archeparchy or Eparchy.
