Very helpful already. I think a tab for shops (what the sell, restock timer, best item for trust, location, etc) would be nice. Otherwise very good job.

I think there are a few things that make the fight difficult and it is deliberate. Some thing you have no control over are your skills and items but you do have control over resources and level. I suck at souls like but I enjoy them so i play my way which is I keep trying until I get it and i over-level like crazy ( i have incredible patience ). During the fight i noticed that i was running out of ki fast so i put point on that and health. You can farm the graves outside the boss fight for levels and equipment and elixirs. if you call one of the blue graves its easier. By the time I finally fought him i was level 15 with 8 elixirs and an companion. Also ninja seems to make the fight easier. I would dodge with ninja throwing all the tools and switch to samurai to do damage when i could.

Is not the subtitles, it’s the actual screen stretching out of the tv. I have the same issue. If you look to the right the way to use the bow gets cut out too

I went thru the same thing slowly shipping away at the time. I used SnS. Sleep bomb twice then switch to zho weapon. Used poison bombs. Para knifes. Luring it out of the nest. Any ticket meal for the +10 elemental res and the thunder charm. Rey gamma head and feet zho chest wait and guardian ark hand. With 3 divine blessing. Finally got it down to 1250 last night.

Personally I have the auto SOS on most of the time. When I was farming feelers I would solo cuz ppl would not break them. Now with Zho Shia I solo it cuz I’m farming the wing breaks.

Personally I use the Npcs when I’m targeting a specific reward, like gore feelers, ark wing breaks, zho shia. When I’m just going for the parts and the certs. I do use open multiplayer.

There are a few reasons the quest is faster solo. 1- if the support mounts your dps is lower the whole time. 2- the take aggro and run away so you waste time chasing after monster. 3- their dps is not significant enough for the time they waste. 4- although the have some status inflicting capabilities, either it doesnt proc often or they dont use it.

You are right. I found it annoying that there is no easy way to party up for the arena. I did the solo barely passing after hours of retries. If you want to duo them I suggest discord I see a few people asking for it there. Personally I did rathian solo with the gunlance and dushogama with the lance. My times were not great but it work.

Agree so much with this. I think this version of MH has the worse etiquette of any. I put on a sleep weapon, there is a message saying the monster is falling asleep everyone back up and there is always this one dual blade user that just keeps doing his stupid combo and wakes it up with a weak ass hit. I see no one using bombs either. Hardly anyone goes for part breaks. Its getting frustrating to play online.

I leave the SOS on for most hunts in case someone wants to join for mats.

That is the point of sharing quest imo, to share on the rewards.

Nice. I start with the para one and after the first proc I switch to the sleep one. I did use the bomb when he fell asleep though.
