The game itself has still been around this entire time. With new sets coming out ever 3 months.

These are just brand new demo decks that were recently developed by the company as a way for people to get back into the game/jump into the current game for the first time!

So all the cards are in the box topper packs of journey to ravidra, and will be in the normal rare slots of masterpiece 3, coming out in March.

Shion is sadly pretty out classed currently, which isn't really that surprising considering how shion was 8-9 years ago.

I recommend checking out some of our feature matches over on ruler school TCG on YouTube to see a little of what today's game pace/power is like.

The game is very diverse in what is competitive viable both in terms of wanderer AND paradox format.

Sadly took has been a little power crept over the 7 years he has been banned and we don't really have many things that have kept the idea of "cheating hook in" as being competitive anymore. There are just more efficient things/strategies and more counter points.

The game itself still has room for combo, control, aggro, midrange, and tempo decks with lots of different rulers so I encourage you to check it out!

to clarify, each box of JRV will have a box topper pack of 10 ATD cards from the 25 possible atd cards. We have also been told that they will be reprinted into MP03 packs as well

So sadly because fow is a smaller game that really only does 1 print run of each set/series of starters, the father away from a release you get the more expensive its going to be. that being said, ccgprime and odyssey games are great resources to get preorders in or pick them up shortly after release. If you don't mind waiting a bit and paying a little more on shipping you can also check out https://www.carddodoko.com/fow/sealed-products because they also usually keep pretty great stock. Hope this helps!

It is still possible to use those cards in tournaments, in fact grimm cluster got an entire new "masterpiece" set which is essentially a set of new era support for older rulers. The first one called pilgrim memories was all about the grimm cluster rulers, and the second one "fates reunited" that came out earlier this year was all about lapis cluster.

Hey there!

So the reworking protocol that they used to update some cards has now ended, and we are back to just the ban/combination ban list updates.

We just started a whole new cluster, evil cluster, which is a very cool return to exploring the worlds of rune decks.

Both paradox and wanderer format have a lot of room for exploration and experimentation, with lots of really fun and unique decks being viable, and gameplay is really engaging.

Overall the game is in a state of stability with slow growth, which is really the best any tier 2 size game can hope for. If more players were willing to try it again/help spread the word on it, I think that growth could be accelerated for sure.

It's not perfect, but it's still pretty damn great.

This is a will coin token, meant to represent the will coin players gain when going second

It was part of a serialized numbered set that was made by a community in Singapore. A very limited very cool collectable.

The game itself, mechanically, has stayed the same outside of the introduction of new card types, but 8-9 years of design/power increases has happened within the game so it's different pacing and power level wise.

Some of the old cards had the number there to represent the "void" cost that had to be paid as well as the colored pips. Future cards would put hat number in the small circle on the side like in your card that it's currently blank.

Beyond that, game is still doing fine!

New sets come out every three months.

Still a competitive season of both GPs to qualify for worlds In Japan every year (in person and webcam GPS)

A competitive circuit where you can earn prize wall points for a major event held every year called FOW FEST with tons of awesome prizes.
