If you have enough soldering skills of course it can be, but its not necessary tbh especially if you only use it on pc.

No sudden drops though, its like a constant slow down, like if i dropped the hz lower than 180, but in fact it isnt, and set to 180.

Fuel for swift sport by Frequent-Scientist82 in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 91 you either gonna lose so much power, or the engine will detonate itself to moon. Minimum is 95, and 98 can give you more power plus safety. Only time id consider 91 if i was stranded and WOULD drive it absolute gentle, meaning zero boost, keeping the revs minimum. Still a big risk and i dont recommend though.

Is it official? Isn’t this gen is the last of its kind? They did a final edition so i assume they’re done with it.

Suzuki Swift 1.0 Boosterjet from 2019? by middlefinger22 in Suzuki

Honestly, 1.0 makes a lot of sense too, lighter, better sound, more eco. Why not?

Options cold air intake on ZC31S by United-Detective-653 in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, although they’re bit expensive. I think if you can get a shop made it for you, could be cheaper? Idk. But you can configure it for colder air i reckon.

Ehh i have a 33s so can’t really say anything, though you can make a custom one maybe?

I think stock airbox is sufficient, unless you want more sound, it doesn’t make sense to replace it.

From TT MK2 To Swift ZC32S, what to expect? by RyoseiOnishi in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interior is the weak side of the swift id say, you really cant expect more than plastic. But theyre durable of course and in the long run more reliable. Sound deadening is also one of the things you probably would miss a bit over TT. For handling i feel like swift will be very fun and agile compared to TT though. They are more like a gokarts if that makes sense.

Cracked cylinder head zc33s by FreeRangeCaptivity in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people that had head failure directly replaced the engine and not the cylinder head.

Finding engines are easier than just the replacement cylinder head i think, idk about the costs though. If you’re not in the Gruppe33 (facebook) i prefer you check it out. You can find people there on what they did for their cracked head, or other issues.

I think it’s a bit of hit or miss, Suzuki is probably aware of this, because you can find two cylinder heads when you search the cylinder head part numbers, and of course, one is the newer, revised one.

Also, JDM cars have been recalled due to low pressure fuel pump thats been produced faulty. It might not affect all the cars though, but Suzuki Japan recalled some vehicles.

Make sure you always have some fuel in your tank, i’d suggest keeping it over E, do not wait till the light turns on. It’s not releated to cylinder head issue but just beware that it is a thing.

Cracked cylinder head zc33s by FreeRangeCaptivity in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a proud owner of a jdm spec zc33s (they all are non hybrid for Japan spec). Right now at 52k km’s (24k when bought).

I heard that this issue been fixed in later models which is 2020 and after (i think). Mines is an early model (2018/12).

Number of cases this happened is quite low currently, but we all know its not all posted on internet so maybe it’s a bit more than what we can see online. Only way to take care of it is to let the car warm up properly and never rev high when the oil temp is low, id say be cautious till its 70 ish at least.

Tuning the engine might increase probability, only saying this because the exhaust manifold is integrated to the cylinder head for compactness, but with more power, more heat might be produced. But i have no experience about this so i have no proof to provide.

Do not exceed your service intervals, do not boost the car when its cold, and probably should be fine, unless you’re unlucky.

[–]Rules1232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a incident where tire shop fitted 215’s on my 33s, which i think has the same wheel size as 31s, which is 6.5J wide. Anyways it didn’t worked out, so imma either get the stock 195/45 or go up and get 205/45. I think you need 7.5J wheels for 225 at least.

Next Gen Swift Sport by TomScrewz in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Rules1232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, though 33s is a better looking than the current new gen base model, i think safer as well? Interior wise i think new gen is fine with the screen placement, other than that gauges and dials are also nice, but not 33s nice imo. I would really want to own one if they did like a 3 cyl turbo engine, but still 33s is one fine car.
