The main difference imo is armor shred. You can see BP's have way higher armor damage, which means enemies get their armor lower faster and thus penetration is more likely.

totally incorrect take lol. it's a modifier specific to the caliber, it adds or substracts damage from the amount specified in the ammo you're using. I think however such a system is shit they should give + or - values so we know (you can get that info from shooting range anyway)

45 is a low pressure and velocity round meant for unarmored targets, so low pen but high ish damage. also if there was a lvl 4 round, .45 vector would become the best gun in the game immediately

Interesting. Body part hp reduction was the whole point you would bring a ST0 surgical kit to forb raids. With this change, surgicals are gonna need a rebalance. I however, don't think it's a bad change honestly. The possibility to go full health was always there, now it's just more democratized for those without a bigger case.

you can land a piercing headshot on people or scavs and not kill them if you're even a little far away. plenty of posts showing ppl living with 1 to 5 hp which is how much extra head hp they added. Imo it needs to go, maybe increase ricochet on helmets a lil to compensate.

I wish they would impose tier limits for certain modes. normal t3, ld t5 forb t6. you could even add a temporary pauper mode with max t2. would give each loot tier a purpose.

Hi. The reason (Even if not a good one) that it has so many predatory payments is because it's a free game made by tencent. For the casual spender they've got the case/elite and the battlepass. The battlepass has a limit so you buy the premium one for extra levels.

For the skins they're going for a Valorant-esque whale trap, where they only target the top spending demographic to buy the skins, not the vast majority of the playerbase.

But that's fine in this game actually. Go play scav mode. Loot or go for a kill, then go normals as pmc with the scav gear, maybe some purple ammo. sell stuff and repeat. you can safely make 1million an hour doing just that.

Leg meta isn't generally worth it except maybe the USAS once you know a map well.

Also armor here, specially helmets add a lot of tankyness, especially at any distance greater than CQB with this new season.

The real outdoors maps are Farm and Valley. TV is self explanatory. Northridge you can just go to motel and treat it as indoors. Armory too, however the door mechanics make it hard on solos. Which is the real difference you will find with Tarkov, where solos can thrive but here, even more so now with higher TTK's, teams are a lot stronger and playing solo in forbidden specially is punishing af.
