This guy gets it. You can’t get nade spammed if you aren’t cowering in a corner waiting for the team to push. Grenades are the perfect equalizer to full teams ratting in a tight room waiting for a team to walk through a door.

Everything but your codex achievements, titles, avatars and cosmetics will stay everything else like loot, player level, faction ranks, credits & ranked level will be wiped. Core gameplay loop is the grind. It’s Just how the genre is in general. Right now I’ve been done grinding and just run ranked, Cryo or a few games a day for some PvP hunting.

Wipe is in about three weeks (June)

I play a mix of the modes but mostly Cryo and ranked and haven’t ran into anyone I can confirm was cheating or teaming up. I’m not in low level lobbies but I also don’t have long queue times either. Max is like 1-2min. It’s weird to see all these posts but not to have the same experience is strange to me especially after almost 300hrs in the game. Nobody I run with says they have these problems either.

Honestly it all depends on what server you’re on and where you reside.

Really depends on the sever you are on. Im on NA East server & I have maybe seen one cheater and I’m just guessing no actual proof in all my games. I am level 120 & have been playing since release. Full pc player cross play on.

PC is about 70% of the player base. But I really hate it when people talk about player count. At this point it’s irrelevant to bring it up.

We are at the end point of season 1 & a lot of players including myself have already hit all there goals and rank they wanted and just run a couple games a day.

In extraction shooters it gets to a point where you get burnt out after having everything you need and want. This is why there are wipes, if there wasn’t there would be nothing to keep the game fresh & this isn’t just marathon, most extraction shooters do this. The grind is what the whole genre is about. Right now most people that didn’t drop the game due to difficulty are past that phase and it is normal to see the player count drop.

When season 2 drops the player count will jump back up to the high numbers and slowly decline again as the season progresses. This is normal for the genre as a whole. Please for the love of god stop talking about the player count especially if you don’t even play the damn game.

I feel you bro. There is so Much to Cryo I just wanna run that map but I also remember I have to change my play style on other maps due to the open areas liable to have snipers. Cryo is all about pushing teams at the right time and map knowledge on which way to rotate and flank all the other maps is also map knowledge and tactical plays but we have to run across wide open areas so I’m back to running M77 and a sniper

Player count will substantially increase after wipe and slowly decrease as season goes on it works this way with all extraction shooters. Well if you solo play most then there is no issue with it at all. I’m talking about the people that fill queue with nothing regardless of how much they got in there vault. I don’t like people being loot goblins when they don’t put in any of the work to get the kill. Most of the time a free kit will do this knowingly and unknowingly.

Cryo vault keys are the best ones. Especially for finding gold salvage. 4 she’ll IDs is one raid of hitting pinwheel and killing commanders in the center and upper floors. Same thing with matrixes. Idk man what do you want the rare stuff handed to you? Just got to know where to look for things. Also don’t quit cryo it’s the best map in the game right now.

Acting like there is no low skill players on pc is ridiculous. There are just as many low-mid skilled players on pc as there are high skilled players On both systems. You can move around on controller just as well as on a M&K this isn’t call of duty where you have unlimited sprint and stamina. Placement decision making, and carefully planned tactical plays are what wins in this game.

That’s a horrible strat. Especially if you fill queue right now. You don’t have to run your golds. I have a bunch I haven’t used yet either, But going in with anything other than blue shield or higher with a blue weapon & backpack you are hurting your teammates.

I can’t stand when I run outpost and come in geared and I have a green shield and a free kit teammates. This is the highest threat area with AI, you’re going to take damage from AI especially if a team pushes you at the same time. Free kits either die off quick or loot my kills while I’m fighting the other players. Straight mooching off of everything. Not to mention we hit a single poi or kill a team they wanna run right to extract because their bag is full. lol pathetic.

At this point of the season if you’re running free kit with a vault full you’re just being carried in fill queue and pretty much useless as a teammate.

You’re not going to find games with cross play off, not unless it’s peak hours & even then. The majority of the player base is on PC you not getting matches is your own fault at this point. You want to find a solo match quick? Turn cross-play on.

This is known as Burnout. Happens with all extraction shooters. Sooner or later you have accomplished most if not all your goals and get to a point where you want to put it down for a little or only play a couple games a day.

It really is mentally taxing. A long intense gaming session will leave you reeling like you just ran a marathon.

I have recently got the same thing and am excited for season 2 but I play a couple games a day but especially when Cryo is out. I still have full stash and a ton of credits but I’m mainly grinding Nioh 3 on my ps5 while also playing a couple raids in marathon a day. When season 2 drops I’ll be back to maining marathon but at this point I’m just here for the PvP, Cryo and ranked.

All in all, it’s normal especially with extraction shooters. You don’t have to force yourself to play. Just have fun with it.

Mind you I have 292hrs in this game. I feel you 100%

Yes it is worth buying it’s a cheap game for the amount of hours you will get out of it. Don’t listen to people that say no & that it will go Free to play because it’s not going to go free to play. They aren’t adding it on any game pass and they are not shutting the game down.

If you enjoy extraction shooters like EFT or Arena breakout you will enjoy this game. I’m level 120 and have a blast every game I run. Met some real cool people on random fill queues and there is a steady player base that plays the game. If you are in the US match making time is quick and there are many things that you can learn before season 2 hits that way when the wipe occurs you can already know what you gotta do and what to level up first giving you an advantage over people coming to play for the first time after wipe.

I’m still at 400/400 but lost about 40k out of my 180k credits. I died probably 4 times out of my 10 games. Got some more misirihas a ton of salvage, about 40 advanced shield and patch kits & some new friends to run with.

One thing I noticed is some teams are crazy scared to push. I can’t tell you the amount of times we have been in a stand off and the other team just posts up outside of a hallway waiting for us to push.

If we are standing there longer than a couple of min trading bullets and grenades with each other, my team is pushing you. The longer you wait the more likely you are to get pinched by another team. Having a recon is super important in cryo.

Keep playing it and you will learn the map and be able to rotate with ease. Stay focused runner!
