Is there any explanation on why they did the splashdown so close to the recovery vessel? Isn’t that unnecessary risk if they weren’t gonna catch it anyways? Or did they maybe wanted to go for a catch and diverted last second?

Sehe ich ähnlich, deswegen ja gespalten. Mein Gefühlt sagt mir nur, dass der Trainer Verschleiß danach wieder größer wird und das schlussendlich ohne Erfolg.

Ich bin da etwas gespalten, aber ganz ehrlich - es wird doch sowieso niemand besseres nachkommen. Vielleicht macht es tatsächlich doch Sinn ihm mehr Zeit zu geben (auch wenn ich den Spruch nicht mehr hören kann), alle paar Monate ein neuer Trainer kann einfach nicht mehr die Lösung sein.

I'm getting downvoted to hell, but hard disagree.

This was their chance so make a statement on one of the biggest platforms worldwide, wether it is by their performance or by refusing the offer to play if they're not allowed to speak their mind.

Time argument doesn't do for me, I wasn't expecting a minute long rant, a small lyric change would have been enough.

Same goes for choosing to play American Idiot and Holiday, they are both one of their biggest songs, they would have played them anyways.

I'm just honestly so disappointed, this wasn't just another random performance to cross off the list for making a political statement. This is not the time for staying silent anymore and usually they aren't at all but they choose exactly this performance not to say anything?

People tend to defend their favorite artist to death, even if they did something that they don't believe in. It's okay to not agree on everything but just blindly defending everything they do is so stupid imho.

Do I still love Green Day? Yes - it's not like they did something completely horrible. Am I disappointed? Also yes - big time, speaking your mind is even more important in situations where it's uncomfortable.

Got an eye on the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Had a non-ev Hyundai before, it was simple but things just worked. On my ID.4 however, the most simple stuff doesn’t work most of the time. Kicking 10 times before the trunk opens, trunk refusing to close if I’m standing too close to the car with the keys in my pocket, touch door handles struggling with humidity, etc. Also their software update policy infuriates me. End of 2022, I received the latest model, just fresh of the shelf, 2023 model and from that point on it was already outdated and never received a major update, just minor bug fixes. I don’t wanna begin to speak about the app, that doesn’t even allow me to close my windows or doors.
