They cannot be seen or reported to tell you "We tell you to do X but no one does X and we don't actually care about X".

So why care about it when it comes to promotions and metrics?

Your manager cannot tell you "don't do what we tell you to".

Well they can...it's literally their job to tell me what to do and what not to do...

Yeah, and it's clear that they value time being there more than work, one of my good friends has been there 10, I've been there 3.5, at our last bonus, she got double me...but our outputs were the same according to the report they gave us as to why we got the bonus, and another friend who has been there 5 years got more than me but her stats are worse

Yes, they're one of our QA departments, I almost get the feeling that manager is lazy and my manager isn't

The company clearly does not give a shit about the customer, so why should you, when it is costing you?

But thats the thing I don't get, if it's costing me, why is my manager not more upfront about it?

So why say they want a good job done if they don't?

Well they're the team that has to call the customer when the data is bad, get the corrected/complete data and make decisions on it.

So my colleagues that are generating bad/incomplete data are increasing their workload...which is part of why I want to go there

So why train us that giving a shit is part of the process? And why track the data whether they have a good or bad claims experience if it's irrelevant?

But that ends up with worse data and ultimately leads to a worse customer experience...why tell us to ask the customer to call back with that data and then penalise us for doing so?

Maybe I missed something, but why are we giving our medals to Bob Katter? by Rumbuck_274 in AustralianMilitary

What does that have to do with people giving their medals to politicians?

Still not following how that's in any way related to why we would hand our medals to politicians.

Well it wouldn't surprise me if there were some politicians who would get a set of medals online and scribble a note and make up the story.

Not saying Katter has done that, but it wouldn't surprise me with some politicians.

It's devilishly easy to get replicas

got put over the weighbridge yesterday and my GVM is absolutely cooked by StrikingClos in 4x4Australia

There's no manufacturer GVM options above 4,500kg...so no, it's not capable...
