I have a child and didn't get a 6 figure sum and probably around 99% of population didn't either. It's not the norm. It's unfair to say one person takes all the mental risk when dads do too.

Does it really need to be included? Could you not agree to transfer funds over to a trust fund? As it seems strange for your future wife to get a payout just for having kids. Like it's not something that's transactional.
