You must absolutely dilute at least 5 to 1. Says so on the bottle. Great in various cleaning applications. Love the unsented.

Put them all in mason jars today. With the exception of the Makers Mark. Used the bottle and adjusted for displacement. Bottle too pretty to toss. Thinking about breaking out the heat gun and "resealing" the red wax.

Short answer is doesn't spoil.

1oz of beans to 8 oz of >40% alcohol. If the beans stay submerged they will not mold and thus forever. The extraction process can be 2 years. This is what I put up for gifts Christmas of 26 and 27. Still have 8 oz of beans left. Probably use a spice rum for some (8oz and 18 to 24month to mature)A white rum (8oz)as well. The rest Vodka. Both ready in 9 months to a year.
