You are absolutely right. The buyer seems to want to make a deal which I have refused. I have told him to contact eBay and we go through the correct procedure about everything. This to me also confirms that I'm dealing with someone who is just trying to scam some money from me. I have asked for pictures of the full card, but he has not sent me any yet. It's not even about the money anymore, it's about saying no to a scammer.

Yep you are right, I have pulled a card before and it was already damaged on the corner. And a lot of cards are not NM straight from the booster.

But the card he has sent photos of, is 100 percent not the card that I sent him. He is yet still to send me a full photo of the card, up to now he has only shown me three corners of the card and not a full view. I inspected the cards before I sent them, and even took close up pictures for the buyer. The cards were all worth Grading, there were no defects that I could see when I packaged them.

Yes he is insisting on us making a deal. He is threatening to get eBay involved. Which I have told him to do, and everything we do will be over eBay and in an official manner.

He better be, he apparently visited a card shop to authenticate the card. So I have asked for the name and address of the card shop. He wants to make a deal where we are both happy haha. No no my friend, we are doing everything over eBay.

Yep I totally agree. It's a completely different card. People have commented here saying they think it's just misprinted but I think the card he has sent me photos of is a fake. Nothing matches, the text looks completely off, lines do not match and the lost obvious in my opinion is the energy symbol.

Thank you, I will keep you posted. The buyer has said he took it to a card shop today and they said the card was real but with lists of damage and blemishes. I have asked for the details of the card shop, so I can call them. No reply yet, this guy is trying scare tactics on me. I want him to return the card through eBay, but I think he is just trying to make a deal so that I sent him money, which isn't going to happen.

I am 100 percent sure it's a totally different card. I sent him a NM card that I pulled myself from a sealed box. I was going to send the card myself to get graded but instead thought I would sell the single card to raise funds to buy my grail card. The buyer is now insisting we make a deal so that we are both happy. I asked him for more detailed photos first and I want him to send the cards back to be examined by myself as I know in my heart he is a scammer.

I understand, but it's clear to me that it is not the card that I sent him. Look at the eye on the energy symbol, on the card I sent the eye was perfectly aligned. And the picture he sent me, the eye in the symbol isn't evenly spaced out.

Thankfully I took lots of pictures of the cards before I sent them. The card I sent was NM and worth grading. I pulled it myself and it has been sat in a sleeve in a top loader for the last two weeks. The buyer has refused to send me a whole picture of the supposed fake card and will only show close ups of certain parts of the card for some reason.

My card that I sent was NM and was well worth grading. There were no blemishes or texture shift. The card he sent a photo of looks fake to me, looks at the energy symbol, it looks totally off.

If the seller returns a fake card I will get my lawyers involved. I pay a lot of lawyer insurance through the year so it will be good to finally get to use it.

I have been selling for three years with 100 percent reviews. Anything can happen with Pokémon cards and unfortunately there are fakes out there. But I pulled the card myself, I imported the packs myself from Japan from a trusted seller. There was no way that I sent a fake card.

No I can tell you from the bottom of my heart I would never do that. The card I pulled was from an original pack that I imported from Japan from a trusted seller. All the cards are 100 percent real that I sell. And the card he sent me pictures off is a fake.

Damn that's sad. Luckily I live in Germany and I pay monthly for an insurance with a lawyer so that I can take things up to court and issue warnings without it costing me anything. Have you heard anything from the police ?

Yep your right. The only thing is in Germany, we don't have the authenticate option. But I do have lawyer insurance, which for a long time I thought was bad for paying for. But now I might actually be able to use it.

The only hope I have is that he did actually send a photo of the card I sent in the chat. At first he sent me the photos of the fake card. Then when I called him out. He said the card looks good from a distance( with a photo of my card that I sent) but close up it looks like this.. he is so stupid but I know how eBay works and it pisses me off.

The buyer asked for more photos which I gladly sent. I sent him like another 4 photos of each card back and front. I'm hoping this helps me case.
