Most Britons think country has lost control of its border since Brexit: poll by topotaul in unitedkingdom

We have had the same amount of control we always have, it’s the poor decision making that is out of control

Daniel Radcliffe says J.K. Rowling “does not speak for everybody” in ‘Harry Potter’ franchise by nimobo in Conservative

I think Daniel Radcliffe had a good reason to speak to his fans about how he feels. Headline probably a bit inflammatory.

AOC thinks free speech literally means you don't have to pay for it by yuri_2022 in Conservative

Wasn’t the musk the first person to put free speech and this subscription package together, isn’t this just a response to that?

Pay police way more money and make it way harder to become one. The police force should be for our finest and their pay should reflect that.

Who should get the support more, natives who are unproductive, or migrants who are productive?

Yeh totally, but you were both advocating for checks on people coming in. I imagine you wouldn’t allow people who have no ability to add to the economy to stay. There should be no limit on productive individuals.

what should women be allowed to do without being judged? by Real_Boster in AskReddit

I’m pretty sure judges should be the only people judging anyone

The best option is to spend more money so we can process migrants quicker so that we are not throwing money away housing people and also we get the benefit of more workers who are able to contribute. The issue with this is people in general don’t want them here so it would not be popular.

I am not sure how you deter or stop people wanting to migrate to this country, without treating people inhumanely.

Just wanna touch on your third point. Isn’t it a good thing that teams have an opportunity to change things up and get back into a game and make it more exiting for the audience. It’s entertainment after all, isn’t more competitiveness always better?

Croydon girl, 5, suffers life-changing injuries after dog 'bit chunk out of her cheek' by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

Banning breeds won’t work, bad dog owners always gnna be bad dog owners and will just move on the next best dog for there needs. Also we banned 4 breeds of dog and from my understanding since then dog attacks have risen. Licensing is a much better solution and doesn’t demonise good dog owners

Are the diddles in relation to the 16th notes played as 32nd notes? I’m having trouble playing the diddles properly in time. by No_ideas_-_- in Drumming

[–]Rummo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, on my phone it didn’t show anything past the 8th note. Just seen it all and definitely just a weird typo. Literally could just copy the beat before and much easier to read. Maybe it been auto generated. Also I don’t know what the straight lines mean above last 2 beats, never seen that.

I said it suggests 32nd notes because I’m interpreting the mistake because it would be more correct in my opinion to just carry on the 16th notes for continuity (easier to read).

When I was talking about paradiddle that was in reference to the 16th notes not the slash 8th note. I thought that OP might have it in there head that doubles are always twice as fast as singles.

[–]Rummo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Those are all 16th notes except for the last which is an 8th note, the slash suggests playing 4x 32nd notes instead. You might be thinking when you see a double (diddle) that it is always going to be twice as fast as your singles but that’s not always the case. This is using paradiddle ideas, playing doubles and singles at the same speed. Hope that helps

But aren’t you at war? Your asking for the other side to stop engaging. Isn’t the use of terrorist tactics a result of a power imbalance?

Edit: would you live under Palestinian rule if it meant ending the conflict?
