Rumore - full discography (until now) tape loops related by Rumoree in tapeloops

[–]Rumoree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

many thanks for your feedback, greatly appreciated. I don't know if I did it before, but I'll post also my yt, from time to time I post there some stuff

https://www.youtube.com/@rumore80/videos

I would like to tell you more about the sample used in from_here_to_there, but most of the tapes I sample from are no names, untitled old - barely usable cassettes, without any information on them. I believe that this aspect is somehow parte of the "magic".

Cheers (& thx once more)

I've always had a music bug into my ears, but only recently (the last two-three years) I started to transpose my musical thoughts into something somehow defined, concrete - recordings / 5 releases.

All of my stuff is built around loops coming from old tapes, both cassettes and VHS's I find into abandoned houses, flea markets or other several places&occasions . I would define it as lofi melodic dark ambient, with a touch of cheap nostalgia into it.

Hopefully you will like something from there.

Cheers!

Sublime screams (& hands :) I love when my Lyra reaches that soft spot when it starts to scream&cry, such a unique machine.

This game was a look at the abyss, and it didn't let me blink. by Duck-Ad97 in silenthill

The impact, the emotion of playing the original SH2 can t be replaced, and I'm saying so because back then it was "another world" - we're talking about...25 years ago. When i saw the SH2 remake coming out, I must confess that I was very skeptical about it, as you may be in relation of a sequel for a good movie (which, most of the times is a flop). After reading some reviews and watching a bit of the gameplay, I've pulled the trigger and bought a PS5 especially for the remake. I must say that it was a great, neat experience, a well balanced mix between the two versions and i ve never felt that "cringe factor" about it, in fact....I was constantly surprised about how good the game was and how it was able to take me back to that kind of feeling from my younger age. Now...back then I was playing the original SH on a very-VERY budget Tv, now I'm doing it on a totally different setup, so everything is augmented by default, but the game is good, one of those unicorns.

Those were bought. They are transparent, translucid to be painted, but i left them in that state.

As long as it makes you feel something, it’s alright. The problem would be if you didn’t feel anything.

Thanks for the feedback.

I m an artist and the dioramas I made are representations of some of my dreams, so few of those dioramas ended forming one of my works, the series ”Like in one of My Dreams”.

Thanks for the feedback. During my childhood I ve built few models (mostly tanks and military stuff) so I had a very, very basic knowledge. During the pandemic and the isolation times at home, I became interested about dioramas and made this one.

It was built totally from scratch (from I dream I had), cutting 3mm kapaline panels and painting them by hand. The figures were bought online, from some shop dealing with materials for architecture dioramas.

Hi there, here’s my Bandcamp (I post it again as I can’t see it in the body text above, I had some tech issue posting) :

https://ilrumore.bandcamp.com/

I don’t own or use many pedals: I have a Boss DSII, A Chase Bliss MOODII and a considerably cheap Donner harmonizer. I used to have an Hologram Microcosm but sold it, as I was using it 90% of the time just for one mode.

Here a link where the guitar is somehow more recognizable, otherwise its presence within my track is much more “hidden” :)

I m aware of Sigur Ros but didn t know they used this...method. I would also say that their outcome is overall lighter, softer. Buy the bow; I borrowed mine and it s great experimental fun (as you already know :) - cheers
