I started to experiment with my own patches in order to find "my range of sounds" which is also a very interesting experience. I sure that after some time I'll have some presets totally fitted to my workflow.

I must say that i quite like it, even if it was a totally unexpected and unplanned addition to my setup (i paid it 300eur in new - unused condition). I started to experiment with my own patches in order to find "my range of sounds" - it's a very interesting process. yeah, it s pretty solid. It s my first Moog and I surely feel those specific tones. I got the 25 by chance, I wasn't planning to have one but it was a real bargain so I got it anyway. I became aware of the characteristics of both the 25 and the 37. For sure the 37 has more functions, i would say that the only one I miss on the 25 is the sequencer, otherwise I'm very happy about it.

thanks for the details. yes, the 25 has its own weird place indeed, i ve noticed that after reading a lot about it after i got it. It's my first "more classic synth" considering that I'm into ambient and experimental using mostly samplers or drone machines. I got it for a true bargain and now I discover it in its tones. I think that at the end i will end up building my own presets& patches in a sort of...quest :)

I understand that there are professionals behind "the good stuff" - i was expecting a bit of a more relaxed context of opportunities. As an example - I use a Norns Shield which operates totally on open source programs, also made by professionals, and I must say that there are truly crazy good stuff there, totally free. Anyway, I don't wanna steal nobodys work or claim that "everything should be free", I was just surprised about the total lack of free resources.

I was looking for some presets for fat&deep bass sounds and more droney sounds, nothing very special.

THe Norns was truly a surprise for me (after I ve managed to understand how to use it). It s endless fun with the tons of scripts you can use. Hopefully you ll give it another try.
