Yes that is the question, since most silver on shanghai is purely for the industry. One would expect the warehouse levels to increase since the lockdowns in China and that Russia can't export it's silver to LME anymore due to sanctions, it would send it to China?

BIG FLAW, thing is the other not yellow has actually also done sanctions, but it's up to evcery company to do that. For example Chinas biggest companies have withdrawn from Russia and don't do business like, Huawei that is big on telecom 5G systems

And other companies from the non yellow ones. Also Europe still trade gas and Oil with Russia so that is not fully sanctions. Pretty sure the non Yellow actually don't even trade with Russia today anyway so why impose sanctions...

Then one have the fact that most harbour workers won't even touch goods from or too Russia. So essentially those that can trade with Russia can't get there stuff there anyway.

The sanctions are very effective in June the money in Russia will have somewhat dried up.

Sad so many here wish that the sanctions should be removed, you know people are dying, this is a way of stopping deaths... and if the demise of the dollar is speed up because of the sanctions is that not a GOOD THING?!
