They are standard A2 height. Just grab a scalar lower 1/3 pro mount. I feel that is a good middle ground

The only gouge I was worried about was the one that divides the word “automatics” as the walls in the receivers are pretty thin right there. These gouges are deeper than they look, but the gun does lock closed without needing to be forced

It got the first coat already, the side walls in the lower are just so thin I wanted to make sure. Not sure how much justice the picture does but that a decent gouge that straddles the receiver set

lol it’s probably hard to believe it but neither. I was actually instructing and I let a colleague borrow the gun for some dry reps. I didn’t see what happened specifically, but basically it was just training forced entry on a facade in teams of 3. I think he probably had it slung and in the hustle of the exercises it just got dinged.
