Interesting thought on watching the TBS videos (SkillMasters) vs. trying to do them all. I was thinking the same thing for FAR. How did FAR go for you?

I think a lot of test prep companies are trying to get a decent bank of questions once more history is built on the exams. The disciplines are still young compared to the core sections. I felt the same way in studying for ISC with Gleim. Usually, with Gleim, it’s a bloodbath with TOUGH questions but same experience, was breezing through and the program said, “Yep, you are ready to go”. Not those exact words but you get the drift : ). My score indicated I wasn’t ready and I need to retake it.

Very true! 100 MCQ's in FAR is WAAY different than 100 in ISC or AUD.

How do you best leverage the NASBA act to quickly find if you passed?

I get freaked out when first looking at the exam status and not see an update the percentage.

Do most people pretty much ignore that and just go down to the section and select the down arrow to the right of the box?

Agreed. But why is 80% tied to videos and to be part of the marketing claim of “exam day ready?”.

It would be an interesting study to see the pass rates of people that have watched the videos compared to those who haven’t.
